Upcoming Daytime Closures for Bridge Work on State Route 110 at Avenue 60

LOS ANGELES – Crews will continue daytime ramp closures the week of Sept. 8 for bridge work on State Route 110 at Avenue 60.

The Avenue 60 onramp to northbound SR-110 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily, Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 8-11.

The Avenue 60 off-ramp from northbound SR-110 remains closed.

Additionally, the posted speed limit will be reduced by 10 mph in the construction zone. Signs alerting motorists of closures and reduced speed limits will be posted.

Closures and lane reductions are subject to change due to weather or operational reasons.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead, use caution near construction zones and expect potential delays. For real-time traffic conditions, visit the Caltrans Quickmap.

This work is part of a $15.8 million project to upgrade existing bridge rails to current standards and increase the durability and longevity of four bridges on U.S. 101 at Alvarado Street, First Street and Santa Monica Boulevard/State Route 2 and SR-110 at Avenue 60.
