Outreach Committee

MISSION:

The Outreach Committee develops and implements outreach programs to educate and inform residents about the Neighborhood Council's role, functions, and initiatives. This may involve creating brochures, newsletters, websites, social media campaigns, or organizing educational workshops and town hall meetings. The committee fosters partnerships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and community leaders to collaborate on neighborhood initiatives and address common issues. This can include joint events, resource sharing, or joint advocacy campaigns.

Committees consist of up to 5 board members and 4 stakeholders

COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULE:

The Outreach Committee meets in person on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Location: Highland Park Recreation Center, 6150 Piedmont Ave.
